Hi all, thank you for viewing.
I've never documented a shoot before, but I did this time and felt you might enjoy our journey too.
Last year I had a dream about creating my own outfit for a photoshoot. I'd been inspired from some very creative designs that I'd seen but couldn't afford purchasing so I studied how to create my own and this is what I came up with.

My plan was to make an armour chest plate.
Firstly I moulded it to shape using Wobla and then started adding details.

After building up the Abdominal area I began on the Dragon crest for the chest.

I chose Wales for the photo shoot as we visited there last year and we stayed at a beautiful guest house called Brynarth country guest house.
The owners suggested visiting these waterfalls near by and I felt this was the perfect waterfall for creating this theme too.

I created the Dragon crest and I built up the abdominal region with a putty/clay.

This is the start of the shoulder armour. Once finished I started the painting process.

I then built a Partlet frame and stretched lace over it. I created fixings on the chest plate so it can be added to the armour. From here I purchased a dress that I had made and felt would be fitting to the outfit and created some lower arm armour.
For a finishing touch I created the Dragon claw crown to top it off. Using a Ruby ring over one of the fingers to match the Dragons eye on the chest.

Here is a video personal to us documenting our journey to Wales to create this shoot. I had no intentions posting this originally so you might find some of the footage nothing to do with the shoot But it does show you what we went through and some of the beautiful surroundings of Wales. I would had filmed the actual shoot but as you will see we was fighting with the weather and had a small window to shoot in.
We ended up for the first time getting ourselves published in a magazine, the magazine in question is called Surreal Beauty Magazine/ Sempiternal addition. Here a couple of pics I took on my phone of the magazine.

These are the images they chose and a few others that we like from the shoot.
We titled the shoot: Dragnet.
